Make sure you bring your cowboy boots and hat for this party. Hosted in the fall semester, this dry party celebrates the culture of Texas Two Stepping! The party features an almost all-county music set that includes classics like “Save a horse, ride a cowboy,” a disco horseshoe, line dancing and a mechanical bull.
The Duncan commons is decked out to look like the inside of country bar, with an open dance floor, spotlights, and a glowing horseshoe.
Don’t know how to two step? No problem! There will be lessons before the party and, if two stepping isn’t your thing, don’t worry! You can see if you have what it takes to ride the mechanical bull or, for even more fun, watch how long your friends can stay on. But wait, there’s more! You can get all “countried” up with your friends and take some awesome wild west photos at the photo booth. And yes, there will be some top 40 songs to break up the southern tunes of the night. We promise this party will be one heck of a hootin’-tootin’ good time.
